# Activity Module

> Workspace activity monitoring paired with time tracking.

### Overview

Activity records what's happening across a workspace — paired with [Time Tracking](/docs/modules/time)
for attendance/productivity context, and with Projects for task-level activity history. It's not
in the main sidebar navigation by default; it's reached via direct links (from Time Tracking,
reports, or an admin view) rather than a top-level nav item.

### What it tracks

* Activity logs (actions, events, and changes) that can be filtered and reported on.
* Optional periodic screenshot capture, if a workspace admin enables it under
  **Settings → Privacy** — this is off by default and clearly disclosed to the employee when on
  (see the workspace's privacy settings page for exactly what's captured).

### Permissions

Activity data is workspace-scoped: employees see their own activity; managers and above can see
everyone's.

### Known limitations

* There's no dedicated screenshot-review gallery in the product yet — the `/screenshots` route
  currently just redirects back to `/activity`. Screenshot data is captured and stored (when
  enabled) but not yet exposed through its own UI.
