# Quickstart

> Get your first AmDital API call working in under 5 minutes.

## 1. Get your API key

Navigate to your workspace settings and generate an API key from the Developer section.

Settings → Developer → API Keys → Generate New Key
```

## 2. Make your first API call

Use curl or your HTTP client of choice to call the REST API.

curl https://api.amdital.com/health
```

Workspace creation is a UI-only flow today (Settings → onboarding) — there is no public API endpoint for it yet. Once your workspace exists, every collection follows the standard `GET/POST /api/v1/{collection}` convention documented on the [API Reference](/api-reference) page.

## 3. Invite your team members

Once your workspace is created, invite team members by sending them an invite link from workspace settings.

Settings → Members → Invite Member → Enter email → Set role → Send Invite
```
