# Rate Limits & Pagination

> Pagination conventions and rate limiting across the AmDital API.

## Pagination

List endpoints are offset/limit paginated:

* `page` — page number, default `1`
* `limit` — results per page, default `20`, max `100`

```bash theme={null}
GET https://api.amdital.com/api/v1/leads?page=2&limit=50
```

List responses use a consistent envelope:

```json theme={null}
{
  "docs": [/* ... */],
  "totalDocs": 134,
  "page": 2,
  "totalPages": 3
}
```

## Rate limits

Limits are applied per route category, not per plan — there is no plan-tier-based rate limiting
today:

| Route | Limit | Keyed by |
| - | - | - |
| `/v1/auth-next/login` | 10 req / 1 min | Caller IP |
| `/v1/auth-next/refresh` | 30 req / 1 min | Refresh-token hash |
| `/api/auth-next/reset` | 10 req / 1 min | Caller IP |
| `/api/ami/*` (AI) | 20 req / 1 min | Workspace |
| `/api/reports/*` | 5 req / 5 min | Workspace |
| Everything else (collection CRUD, `/api/cms/*`) | No app-level limit | Behind auth — a valid session or API key is required regardless |

If you are rate limited you'll receive a `429` — see [Errors](/errors).
