Overview
The CRM module is where sales activity lives: leads come in, get qualified, turn into deals, and move through a pipeline to close. Alongside the pipeline it holds your contact and company directory, client/account records, contracts, quotations, a product catalog, and an activity timeline (calls, meetings, notes) for every relationship. CRM has no dependencies on other modules — Clients, Finance, Marketing, and Reports all read from it, not the other way around.Where to find it
Core workflows
Capture and qualify a lead
- Go to CRM → Leads and click Add lead.
- Fill in the lead sheet — first name is required, everything else is optional at capture time.
- Set Source (Website, Referral, LinkedIn, Cold call, Event) and Stage to track where the lead is in qualification.
- Save. The lead appears in the list and its stage is reflected on the CRM dashboard’s funnel counts.
- As the lead progresses, reopen it and move Stage through Contacted → Qualified → Converted (or Unqualified/Lost to close it out).
Assign and route a lead
- Every lead has a real Assigned To field (a workspace member, not free text) — set it on create or from the lead’s edit sheet. Deals have the same real assignee field.
- Lead Routing (
/crm/lead-routing) lets you define rules for how new leads get distributed to reps automatically instead of manual assignment.
Run the pipeline
- Open CRM → Pipeline for the kanban view, or Deals for the list view.
- Deals move across the stages configured in Settings → Sales → Pipelines/Stages.
- Use Forecasting for a manual revenue projection, or AI Forecast for the AI-assisted equivalent.
Set an Account Manager on a Company or Client
- Open a Company or Client record and click Edit to assign an Account Manager — a real workspace member picker, saved immediately to that record.

Known limitations
- Marketing, Finance, and Clients all read CRM data (contacts, companies, deals) — a deleted or renamed CRM record can affect what those modules show.
